The Patriot Diving Experience

Located in the vibrant Occoquan Historic District of Northern Virginia, Patriot Diving is more than just a dive shop—it’s a community where adventure, passion, and inclusivity come together. As a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, we offer a range of courses for all levels. From our introductory Bubble Maker and Seal Team programs for kids to advanced certifications like Rescue Diver and Master Scuba Diver Trainer, we cater to divers of all ages and abilities. For those who want to add a touch of magic to their underwater experience, our PADI Mermaid program brings fantasies to life!

In 2023, Roger and Allie purchased the shop, previously known as Patriot Scuba, from Jeff and Merial, continuing a long legacy of excellence in scuba instruction. As a proudly veteran- and women-run business, we believe in the power of the ocean and the community that forms around it. Our mission extends beyond just teaching diving—we actively support veterans and first responders through our work with Patriots for Disabled Divers (PFDD), with Allie serving on the PFDD board to help promote opportunities for adaptive diving and create a welcoming space for all divers.

Passionate about ocean conservation, we strive to inspire change and educate others on the importance of protecting our marine environments. We travel to stunning dive destinations throughout the year, offering our community unforgettable experiences in breathtaking underwater settings.
