Tom E

Tom started his open water certification journey in 1983 but never finished his open water dives.  Thirty-five years later (2018), he received his PADI Open Water Diver certification.  Since that time, he has spent as much time underwater as possible.  He decided to become a PADI Pro back in 2019 and has served through all the PADI professional ranks. He is currently a PADI Course Director and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer.  In addition to the traditional PADI courses (Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor), he also teaches many specialty diver and Specialty Instructor courses, including Deep Diver, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit, Search and Recovery Diver, Full Face Mask, Night Diver, Underwater Navigator, Wreck Diver, Enriched Air, Self-Reliant Diver and Emergency Oxygen Provider.  When he isn’t teaching at the store, Tom is probably on a dive trip or working at Seabase, the BSA High Adventure Scuba camp in the Florida Keys.
