As a child, Sheila's love for swimming and the water kept her constantly in the backyard pool. Her grandmother fondly referred to her as a fish, and only during thunderstorms would one find her indoors. As she grew older, her dream was always to scuba dive, but 'life' intervened.

After years of navigating work, marriage, raising kids, and facing some life-altering challenges, Sheila was finally presented with an opportunity to fulfill that long-standing dream. In 2014, she and her daughter became Open Water certified. Finally, in May of 2023, Sheila proudly achieved the status of a PADI instructor equipped with several specialties to teach. She looks forward to blowing bubbles and having a great time in the underwater world!
