Jamie's love for the water began at a very young age, often requiring her parents to coax her out. She earned her Open Water Certification in 2002 in Cozumel, Mexico, but didn't return to diving until 2013 in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. This experience ignited her passion for diving and conservation efforts to protect our reefs. Almost every day, she ventured out to hunt lionfish and clean up trash, driven by a desire to contribute to marine preservation.

In 2018, she achieved the status of divemaster, and by 2020, she became a certified instructor. Her dedication extends to educating others to become skilled divers. The Sea Turtle holds a special place in her heart, standing out as her favorite marine companion.
