In 2004, he took on his desire to see what lies under the water's surface and signed up for scuba training. Over the years and hundreds of dives, he has had the opportunity to take part in, enjoy, and support a wide range of underwater events, from filming “Ice Road Truckers” in Alaska to serving as a volunteer rescue/recovery diver and EMT-B in Pennsylvania as well as use his experience and training to safely visit some of the underwater caves in Florida. Now that he has Retired from the U. S. Army as a helicopter mechanic, He has more free time to enjoy the underwater world. He has come to find that underwater is an amazing place to visit, recover, and find peace.
