PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) at Patriot Diving

What You’ll Learn:
- Knowledge Development: Dive theory, PADI standards, risk management, and professional responsibility.
- Teaching Techniques: Learn how to conduct confined and open water sessions for courses like Open Water Diver, Advanced, Rescue, and more.
- Confined Water & Open Water Skills: Practice your demonstration quality skills and fine-tune them with video analysis.
- Rescue Exercises: Master the demonstration of Rescue Diver skills with confidence.

Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 18 years old
- PADI Divemaster or equivalent certification
- 60 logged dives (including night, deep, and navigation dives) prior to beginning the course and 100 logged dives to attend the Instructor Examination
- Completed Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months
- Medically cleared for diving by a physician within the last 12 months

- Duration: Typically completed in 8-10 days, but we offer flexible weekend-only options to accommodate busy schedules. Tell us your availability, and we will make it work for you!
- Preparation & Exams: The course concludes with the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), where you’ll showcase your knowledge and skills. IE available in various locations.
