What is a PADI Master Scuba Diver?

Well it is the highest dive rating you can achieve on the recreational diving side of things before going Pro.  Fewer than 2% of divers achieve this rating.

The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you've spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.

Every diver who is at least 12 years old should aim for Master Scuba Diver.

Prerequisites!

• You must be at least 12 years of age
• You must have your PADI Open Water or Jr. Open Water Certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• You must have your PADI Advanced Open Water or Jr. Advanced Open Water Certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• You must have your PADI Rescue Diver or Jr. Rescue Diver Certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Have 5 PADI Specialties
• Be able to show you have logged 50 + dives
